Data Integration Hub

📍 To access the Data Integration Hub, go to: More > Integrations > Data Integration Hub

Overview

The Data Integration Hub is a centralized place to set up and manage your location's data integration with RedFlag. Choose one primary integration to automatically keep recipient data in sync, with the option to also enable the Recipient API alongside it — or use Recipient API on its own.

🛡️ Note: Data Integration must be enabled for your location before the Data Integration Hub is available. To enable it, go to More > Location Setup and toggle on Data Integration.

Primary Data Integrations

Only one primary integration can be active at a time. Select the option that best fits your organization's HR or workforce systems.

Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)

Automatically sync users from Microsoft Entra ID. RedFlag connects to Microsoft 365 to manage employee accounts, automatically import users, profile information, and group membership directly from your directory.

Best For:

• Microsoft 365 organizations
• Employee directory synchronization
• Orgs managing users from a single Microsoft tenant

Data Connector

Connect directly to supported HR and workforce platforms including BambooHR, Workday, UKG Pro, Ceridian Dayforce, and SAP SuccessFactors. Configure your connection once and allow RedFlag to synchronize employee data automatically.

sFTP File Import

Import recipient data from scheduled file exports. If your HR system can generate a CSV, TSV, or delimited file, RedFlag can securely import that data through our sFTP service. This is a flexible option for organizations using custom systems or platforms without a direct integration.

Paylocity API

Connect directly to Paylocity for automated employee syncing. Maintain up-to-date employee records in RedFlag without manually exporting files. Changes made in Paylocity automatically sync to RedFlag on a scheduled basis.

• Automated employee onboarding
• Reducing manual data maintenance

Secondary Data Integration: Recipient API

The Recipient API can be used independently or alongside any primary integration above.

The Recipient API allows you to create, update, and manage recipient records in RedFlag through secure API calls. It can be used as a standalone integration, or alongside Entra ID, sFTP, or Data Connector to supplement recipient data with information from additional systems.

• Adding and updating recipient records programmatically

🔗 Recipient API Setup Guide

Selecting and Saving an Integration

1. Go to More > Integrations > Data Integration Hub.
2. Under Primary Data Integrations, click Select next to the integration you want to enable.
3. Optionally, under Secondary Data Integration, click Select next to Recipient API to enable it alongside your primary integration — or select it on its own as a standalone integration.
4. Click Save and Continue.
5. A confirmation dialog will appear summarizing your selection. Click Confirm to save.

After confirmation, the selected integration will appear under Integrations in the navigation. From there, complete any additional setup and configuration required to begin syncing data.

🛡️ Note: The integration selection is also reflected in the Activity Log (More > Activity Log).

Switching Integration Types

If your location switches to a different integration type after the initial setup, any recipients and groups that were previously synced by the prior integration will be desynced. Review your recipient data carefully before switching integrations.

Choosing the Right Integration

Important Notes

• Only one primary integration can be active at a time per location.
• All integrations require feature enablement by RedFlag before setup can begin. Contact your onboarding specialist or the Customer Success Team at accounts@pocketstop.com to get started.
• Data fields must be enabled and mapped in More > Setup > Profile Data Field Setup before syncing can begin, regardless of which integration you use.
