Email Template Branding

Overview
RedFlag allows you to fully customize the appearance of the email messages sent from your location—ensuring brand consistency and personalization.
Default Email Template
By default, emails are sent from:
- From Name: “RedFlag Notification”
- From Address:
no-reply@redflaghub.com - Branding: RedFlag colors and banner
Email Template Editor
- Navigate to: More > Setup > Email Domains
- Click on Email Template
Customizable Fields
- Subject Line: Update from the default "RedFlag Notification from [Location Name]" to a custom subject line
- From Name: Customize the display name of the sender (e.g., "RedFlag Alerts")
- From Email: Modify the prefix (e.g., change from
no-reply@yourdomain.comtosupport@yourdomain.com)
Visual Customizations
- Banner Image:
- You have the option to personalize or remove the banner that appears at the top of your RedFlag emails.
- Upload a Custom Banner: Replace the default banner with your own branded image.
- Remove the Banner: If you prefer a minimal look, you can remove the banner entirely.
- Recommended Image Guidelines:
- Size: 640 x 95 pixels
- File Type:
.jpgor.png - Max File Size: Less than 2 MB
- You have the option to personalize or remove the banner that appears at the top of your RedFlag emails.
- Colors:
- Header bar, background, font, message body, and separator bar
- Fonts:
- Choose between serif and sans-serif styles
- Buttons (for Polling/Acknowledgement):
- Customize background and font color
- Preferences:
- The Preferences section appears in the footer of all outgoing emails and allows you to provide recipients with helpful information or ways to manage their communication preferences.
- You can customize this section to:
- Provide Contact Information: Include a support email address, phone number, or other ways for recipients to reach out with questions.
- Example: For support, contact us at support@yourcompany.com or call (555) 123-4567.
- Insert a Link to the Recipient App: If your location uses the RedFlag Recipient App, you can include a link directing recipients to manage their preferences through the app.
- Example: To update your information, please visit: https://yourapp.redflaghub.com
- Update Unsubscribe Language: Customize the default message to reflect your organization's tone.
- Example: If you no longer wish to receive these notifications, please contact your site administrator.
- Leave Blank (Optional): If no footer message is needed, you can choose to leave the Preferences field blank.
- Provide Contact Information: Include a support email address, phone number, or other ways for recipients to reach out with questions.
Preview
A live preview displays how your email message will appear with the selected customizations. Adjust your design settings and view changes in real time.
Saving and Testing Changes
After customizing your email template:
- Click Save to apply your changes.
- Send a Test Email to preview the email and ensure your branding looks correct.
- Reset to Default if you’d like to revert back to the original RedFlag branding.
🛡️ Note: Changes to the email template may take up to 5 minutes to apply to outgoing messages. However, test emails reflect changes immediately, allowing you to preview your edits in real time.
