TCR Brand Registration

Overview

To enable text messaging through RedFlag, your organization must have a registered brand and campaign with The Campaign Registry (TCR). This is an industry-wide requirement for 10DLC (10-digit long code) messaging to ensure compliance with carrier regulations and proper message delivery.

All organizations that send text messages to U.S. recipients through RedFlag are required to register their brand with The Campaign Registry (TCR). This registration verifies your organization’s identity with wireless carriers and ensures that your messages are recognized as legitimate business communications.

Without registration, messages may be blocked, delayed, or filtered as spam by carriers.

🛡️Note: The shared shortcode 444222 is being retired. Each organization will be assigned its own dedicated 10DLC number once registration is complete.

Brand Registration Responsibilities

RedFlag handles all campaign registration and submission to The Campaign Registry on your behalf. Your organization only needs to:

  1. Input brand information as listed on your W-9
  2. Enter brand contact information
  3. Select your preferred text messaging phone number

Once this information is provided, RedFlag manages the remainder of the campaign registration and provisioning process.

🛡️Note: If your brand is publicly traded, a verification email will be sent to the brand contact email provided in the registration form. The recipient must complete this verification step before registration can proceed.

🛡️Note: The brand contact email address must match the organization’s website domain (for example, if your website is www.company.com, your contact email must end in @company.com).

Why Registration Is Required

  • Protect recipients from spam and fraudulent messages
  • Improve message deliverability and throughput
  • Associate messages with a verified business identity
  • Ensure compliance with federal and carrier-specific messaging standards

Failure to complete registration may result in:

  • Blocked or undelivered text messages
  • Disabled text messaging capabilities within RedFlag
